Cosworth Vega

My first car, that I learned to drive on, was a 1975 Cosworth Vega; number 1472.  It was a car significantly ahead of its time.  It was the first dual overhead cam engine with fuel injection sold in the United States.  This car was a BLAST to drive.   When it comes to this car I am a purist.  Too many people have taken liberties with the design of the car and ruined it.  Specifically, many people removed the fuel injection and put on carburetors.  Why would some one do this?  In my humble opinion, it ruins the appeal of the car as a collectors item.  If some grease monkey wants to mess with a car let them use something other than a Cosworth Vega.   Remember, collectors item = purity!
